How Long It Takes

Within minutes of your staffing request, our recruiting department posts your request to hundreds of pre-screened nurses and allied healthcare professionals based on skill level, availability, and location proximity. In addition, our recruitment team will begin contacting specific staff – based on their profiles – that would best suit the needs identified for your facility. Within 48 hours and often sooner, our agency will contact you with potential candidates!

A staff profile detailing a candidate's experience, skill level, and specialized training will be presented to the person(s) acting on behalf of your healthcare organization. We encourage that 'facilitator' to approve or disapprove candidates based on their own personal experience and knowledge of their facility's needs, in combination with the profile information provided by Solutions Staffing. The final decision on a candidate is made by you – because you know the individual needs of your healthcare facility the best!

Solutions Staffing will prepare a roster of qualified nurses who are reside locally to your facility and who are available for casual staffing relief. In addition, a roster of qualified nurses who reside outside your geographic area but who are available for travel, temporary or coverage assignments ranging from 1 – 52 weeks will be prepared. Both rosters will assist you in planning for staff coverages during peak shortage periods.

Housing & Transportation

Solutions Staffing's Travel Coordinator works directly with our nurses and other healthcare professionals to plan the most cost-effective travel arrangements that fit within your organization's budget constraints. We will look at long-term housing arrangements that include apartment accommodations if a need for extended or permanent staff placements has been determined.

Long-term housing arrangements reduce your overall costs by utilizing shared arrangements and reduced monthly rates. All travel costs and arrangements are approved through your account manager to ensure your cost margins are maintained. All travel expenses will be approved by you through continued communication with individual unit managers.

You will be billed bi-weekly for hours worked, travel and accommodation (where accommodations and travel expenses are incurred). You will NEVER be billed for meals or incidental expenses associated with Solutions-sourced personnel.

Billing & Payroll

Every nurse or healthcare professional provided by Solutions Staffing who is working in your facility will keep a detailed timesheet that is verified and signed by a supervisor (or designate) of the unit they are assigned to.

These timesheets are your confirmation of the shifts worked by our placed staff. Each invoice sent to you will be accompanied by a timesheet, and any/all additional hours worked by them that were approved by your unit supervisor(s).
